Hank is a creature whose relation to the machine is akin to that of a thorn lodged in some deep root of nerves. The disrupted signals chaotically cascade down the affected limbs to enact behavior far, far outside of the realm of ‘intent’ as far as the Auditor and Machine understand them. Because of this, these two will be locked in an eternal struggle, compelled by the lowest, most base form of disagreement; order and chaos.
